Not gone, just working

Lately, my lack of new posts has made this blog as stale as the butt end of a loaf of bread that no one has the nerve to throw away.

Why this inactivity? Work. I've been phenomenally busy. Which leads me to one of the paradoxes of the business blogosphere:

If you're genuinely successful at what you do, you'll find it difficult to find time to write about it. And if you're the kind of prospect a busy professional would like to reach, you may not spend a lot of your time reading blog posts.

Right? Wrong? How does my experience compare to yours?

Jonathan, Can I borrow your post for my "stale" blog? I agree with you 100%. I am swamped and simply do not have time to read blog posts (I'm on hold at the moment and reading yours!).

Consequently, my blog has gone "dark" for the last week or so. I admire people who have the time to publish two to three times a week.

I'm in the same boat and bailing water. Have we stumbled onto the dark, secret underbelly of business blogging?
